How to Play

Play Spider Freecell Solitaire online for free. Spider Freecell is a single-deck 4-suit hybrid of Spider & Freecell offering 4 free cells which can be used. Build down in descending order while alternating suit color on the tableau & build the 4 foundations in ascending order. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the PLAY button on the game’s welcome screen.
The welcome screen also has buttons for how to play help, your high scores, and playing more games.
The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown & the lower right corner has buttons to share the game and read game developer information.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Use your mouse left click button to select a card or a run of cards to move it.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap the screen with a finger to select and drag cards.
    - Controls & indicators
      - At the top of the right column the game shows your current score and how much time you have remaining.
      - Beneath those indicators are buttons to undo moves and pause the game.
        The undo move button can be used up to 3 times & then must be recharged by making other valid moves.
        At the bottom right there are buttons to control game sounds, control game music, and switch to full screen mode.
        Game Play
        Deal
        This is a single deck game.
        Two of the Aces are dealt directly to foundations, two cards are dealt to free cells, and the other 48 cards are dealt to the tableau in eight columns of six cards each.
        Playing
        You have a 20-minute time limit to beat the game.
        You can move large stacks of sequential cards on the tableau even if you do not have any empty free cell spaces.
        You can repeatedly use and empty the cards in the 4 free cell positions.
        Cards which can be laid on a foundation automatically are. Once a card reaches the foundation you can not bring it back into active play.
        You can place any card or any sequentially descending run of cards which alternates suit colors onto an empty column on the tableau.
        Scoring
        Each card laid to a foundation is worth 50 points.
        You also score points based on how quickly you solve the puzzle. Each second you have remaining when the foundations are complete is worth 10 points.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like Spider Solitaire or Freecell Solitaire card games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
