Play Puppy Rescue online for free. Puppy Rescue is a 24-stage helicopter rescue game where you must collect all the dogs on each stage while avoiding flying cat aircraft and other obstacles. Finish the levels quickly to earn up to a 3-star rating on each. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Press the play button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser saves your completed levels and the star rating you earned on each level.
- The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a settings button for controlling game sound and music.

  - Desktop
    - Keyboard
      - Press the left arrow key to move left and ascend.
      - Press the right arrow key to move right and ascend.
      - When you do not touch any keys you move in the direction you are facing while gradually descending.
      - Mouse
        
        Left click on the left side of the screen to ascend and move left.
        
        Left click on the right side of the screen to ascend and move right.
        
        When you do not click, you continue in the direction you were moving while gradually descending.
        
        Touchscreen devices
        
        Tap the left side of the screen to ascend and move left.
        
        Tap the right side of the screen to ascend and move right.
        
        When you are not touching the screen, you continue in the direction you were moving while gradually descending.
        
        Controls & indicators
        
        When you begin a level it shows the level number at the start of the level in the center.
        
        The lower left corner of the screen contains a play clock.
        
        The lower right corner of the game shows how many dogs you have rescued and what the rescue goal is.
        
        The level select screen shows which levels have been unlocked and the star rating earned on each level you have beat.
        
        Game Play
        Basics
        Your job is to safely fly the helicopter to pick up all the dogs without running into anything, then land on the landing pad.
        As you advance through the game cats flying planes, blimps, and hot air balloons get in your way.
        Your helicopter can slightly leak out of the upper boundary of the screen or the side edges of the screen without losing, but you can not touch the ground or your helicopter will explode.
        You gradually descend unless you make a move command.
        If you do not make any movement commands for an extended period of time you will speed up quite a bit as you descend.
        When you make a move command you speed up and move in the direction you indicated.
        If you briefly tap you only slightly increase your speed.
        If you tap for an extended period of time you dramatically increase both your speed and altitude.
        
        Levels
        
        This game has 24 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
        
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
        
        Each stage has 1 more dog to rescue than the stage prior did.
        
        Winning vs losing
        
        You win a level by rescuing all dogs on the stage and then safely landing on the helicopter landing pad.
        
        The level does not end until you have safely landed on the correct helicopter landing pad with all dogs rescued.
        
        You lose if you crash.
        
        Next level & continue
        
        On some web browsers the next level & retry buttons stick.
        
        If you are unable to use one of the buttons you can refresh your web browser & then select the level you wish to play from the level select screen.
        
        Star Ratings
        
        You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each stage.
        
        The star rating is based upon how quickly you complete the level.
        
        You can beat a level even if you have a zero-star rating on it.
        
        You can go back to previously beat levels to try to earn a higher rating on them during a subsequent play.
        
        Strategy
        
        This game is quite hard to earn a high star rating on, so it is best to play through all the levels once for the win, then come back to them to play quickly trying to earn a higher star rating on each.
        
        When you change directions it also changes the location of the tail of your helicopter, so it is important to not move to close to a mountain or other obstacle that you need to change directions on, or the tail of your helicopter can run into the object when you change directions.
        
        The length you hold a direction command in determines how quickly you will move in that direction.
        
        If you are struggling landing on a landing pad in between obstacles sometimes you need to long press in one direction or double tap in one direction to get your alignment more off centered so that you are better centered when you land.
        
        If you are close to the upper boundary of the screen or have a platform above you then it can make sense to make periodic light taps to limit how high you climb.
        
        Herding the cats
        If you have cat aircraft blocking your flight path you can rescue dogs in a different order so that you continue to make progress while staying clear of the cats.
        
        If you have not yet took off and cats are blocking your early path you can wait to take off as the level play clock does not start until after you move.
        
        You can land on the starting landing pad or ending landing pad in the middle of the level if you need to pause temporarily & then resume your flight.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like challenging helicopter flying games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
