How to Play

Play Penalty Power 2021 online for free. Penalty Power 2021 is a penalty kicking competition game where you play as the team captain taking shots on goal and then control the goalie blocking your competitor's kicks. Score as many goals as you can in 45 seconds and stop the competition from scoring to move on to the next round of the tournament. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Click the orange and purple button in the lower right corner on the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
- This will bring up the character select screen.
- Choose your captain: Darwin, Wonder Woman, Onion, Mao Mao, Ice Bear, Cyborg, Craig, or Starfire. Your captain will kick the ball.
- Choose your goalkeeper: Gumball, Bumblebee, Apple, Adorabat, Grizzly, Raven, Jessica, or Robin.
- Click the orange and purple button at the bottom of the screen to begin the tournament.
- The welcome screen also has buttons for developer information, sound control, and selecting other soccer ball designs (though you have to unlock other designs before you can use them). You unlock another ball on every third win.

  - Desktop
    - Kicking
      - Set the mouse over the ball.
      - Left click and slide your mouse up and to the left or right to kick the ball.
      - Goalkeeping
        After you see what direct the ball is headed left click and drag in the direction the ball is headed.
        Mobile
        Use your finger like a mouse, touching the screen to control your kicks and block attempts.
        The game has pause and sound control buttons in the upper right corner.
        Game Play
        The game has 6 rounds in the tournament.
        In each round you kick first then play as the goalkeeper, with 45 seconds in each roll.
        If you win a round you move on to the next one.
        If you lose or tie on a round you can replay it.
        As you advance through the game your opponents kick harder and are better at blocking your kicks.
        Strategy
        Kicking advice
        The faster you move the mouse the harder you kick & the faster the ball moves.
        In most cases it is best to kick at least slightly off the ground so the opponent has to guess the ball elevation and location.
        If Bumblebee is the goalie then in those cases it often makes sense to kick the ball low or on the ground.
        In some cases there will be a +5 target inside the goal. If you can hit that with the ball it will add 5 seconds to your kicking time.
        At the top of the screen there is a power meter. After every fourth goal it fills, giving you a golden ball which is nearly impossible for the goaltender to block.
        If you have limited time left ensure you get the golden ball kick off as it is almost certain to go in provided you are not high or wide with the kick.
        Wind
        After the first round a meter on the left side will show you the direction of the wind while you are kicking.
        Pay attention to the wind direction & use it to your advantage.
        If the wind is blowing hard right I like to kick slightly left of the goal and have the wind help push it back in.
        If the wind is blowing hard left I like to kick slightly right of the goal and have the wind help push it back in.
        Goaltending advice
        Timing matters
        Some balls move fast while others move slow.
        If you jump out too quickly you may be past where the ball is when it gets near the goal, or you may find the ball has a curve on it you missed by jumping too early.
        As soon as you know where the ball is traveling and are fairly certain then go for it.
        Kicks which start off as slow and easy in the first round get progressively faster and harder to block as you get into round six.
        Elevation and direction
        Both matter, so when you move, ensure your strategy and movement is considering both.
        Always move to challenge every shot
        Even if a kick looks like it is wide left or wide right still dive for it, as quite often the wind will curve the ball back in.
        Winning vs losing
        The two keys to winning are to score a lot of goals early while you are kicking & try to hold the opponent scoreless as long as possible so that time is working for you.
        If you lose or tie on a round you can replay it.
        Target Audience
        This game is fun for soccer and cartoon fans of all ages.
        There are no adult themes in the game.
